Emily in Paris star Lucas Bravo made a rare comment about his relationship with Shailene Woodley days after they were seen together in Paris.

The Emily in Paris star recently confirmed his relationship with Shailene Woodley while gushing about their romance.

When asked about his relationship with the Big Little Lies actress, Lucas, 37, told People at the premiere of Broadway’s Good Night, and Good Luck in New York City April 4, “Yeah, I’m really happy.”

And while Shailene may have been on his brain, Lucas attended the premiere of George Clooney’s stage debut sans his love. Instead, Lucas—who donned a relaxed black suit for his evening at the theater—attended the star-studded event at the Winter Garden Theater with Glamour’s Editor-in-Chief Samantha Berry.

Lucas’ comments about Shailene, 33, come a little over a week after they called attention to their potential romance with a romantic stroll in Paris. In photos, shared by People, the Netflix star was joined by the Fault in Our Stars actress for a casual walk around the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district in Paris.

While strolling the City of Lights, Lucas kept it casual in a leather jacket and green sweater with black pants as he smoked a cigarette and wrapped his arms around Shailene, who opted for an oversized green sweater, baggy jeans and a black peacoat.

This would be the first public romance for Lucas since his rise to fame in the Netflix series, in which he costars with Lily Collins. For her part, Shailene’s relationship with Lucas is her first public one since calling off her engagement to Aaron Rogers in 2022.

“I haven’t shared much about my relationship with Aaron because it always makes me cry,” she told Outside in a December 2024 interview. “It was not right. But it was beautiful.”

When Emily in Paris‘ Lily Collins met Charlie McDowell, she felt the amour right away.

“We both are in the industry and we have parents that are in a similar industry as well, but we met randomly, actually,” the actress, who is the daughter of Phil Collins and Jill Tavelman, told Ellen DeGeneres in 2022 about her relationship with the filmmaker, whose parents are Malcolm McDowell and Mary Steenburgen. “So we were kind of surprised we hadn’t met yet. “We can kind of conquer anything,” Lily told E! the following year. “We’ve been through so many changes globally, personally. And to be able to have a partner next to you that makes you laugh in times when you need it the most and helps you emotionally get through things, like moving to a foreign country for four months, I just feel so grateful that I have someone next to me to be able to accomplish that and your best friend with you all the time.”

After remaining mum about his love life, the 37-year-old confirmed his relationship with Shailene Woodley. While speaking to People, Lucas gushed about their budding romance on April 3, noting, “Yeah, I’m really happy.”

Lucas and Shailene, 33, first sparked relationship rumors when they were photographed March 23, showing a little PDA as they walked the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district in Paris.

Not only do Paul Forman and Ashley Park‘s characters date on Emily in Paris, they’re also a couple IRL.

“We fell in love as friends and as actors and as scene partners first,” the actress told E! News at the season four premiere in August 2024 about working together, “so it was really fun to dive back into that together and see each other in a professional setting. Because we respect each other so much in a professional way.”

Months after sparking romance rumors, Ashley confirmed her relationship with Paul in January 2024 and shared how he’d been there for her during a health scare—noting “what started as tonsillitis spiraled into critical septic shock, which infected and affected several of my organs.”

“I am grateful that my health has improved despite what we had initially been told,” she wrote on Instagram at the time. “Grateful most of all to @peforman for being unconditionally by my side through all this. You calmed my fears and held me through ambulances, three foreign hospitals, a week in the ICU, scary ERs, countless scans and tests and injections, excruciating pain, and so much confusion all while we were alone on the other side of the world far from those we know.
