Now, Lil Ronnie’s partner and R’Mani’s mother, Shamon Jones, are making an emotional plea to the public: please respect their privacy during this time of unbearable grief.

Lil Ronnie, born Ronnie Smith, was a rising talent in the North Texas rap scene, celebrated for his distinctive sound and unwavering commitment to his music. The Forest Hill Police Department is currently seeking to investigate the events of the shooting. The two suspects drove away in a white Kia four-door, and one of them had a warrant for their capture for capital murder. There is no arrest yet, but investigators encourage citizens to help them.
