Ty, known as ty_kix on TikTok, shared a video explaining he’s managed to sell his four Oasis tickets for £4,000. He said it was a quick way to make ‘easy money’

Millions of people across the country tried to bag Oasis tickets this weekend, but one man just sold his for a hefty £4,000.

Ty, known as ty_kix on TikTok, has over 28,000 followers online thanks to his candid content, and he recently opened up about how he made “easy money” by buying four standing tickets for the highly anticipated gig in Cardiff. He claimed he bought four standing tickets for £150 each, but managed to flog them for £1,000 a pop. He was “absolutely buzzing” that he’d been able to make so much cash on them.

In the clip shared online, Ty said: “Four grand. Four grand I’ve just made on Oasis tickets. I’m absolutely buzzing. I got four standing tickets for Cardiff, and I’ve managed to sell them for a grand each.

“Honestly, it’s a goldmine this Oasis stuff. You lot are crazy. You’re going to be standing up getting covered in p***. You’re insane. £1,000, and I bet that will be cheap in a few months time.

“I don’t get it, I honestly don’t get it. It was so easy to get them this morning. I actually got four, I could have got eight. I should have got eight.”

He went onto say he spent the morning standing outside Starbucks, using their wifi, to get the tickets. What’s more is, he said he was paid for the tickets pretty much “straight away”. Since Ty shared the video, it’s been liked hundreds of times, and several people were quick to share their thoughts. Some people didn’t like the idea that he bought the tickets just to re-sell them though.

One person said: “I don’t agree with this, and I’m not a big Oasis fan. Shouldn’t be allowed. People getting payouts for 3x the ticket price.” Another wrote: “I don’t get it – buying tickets and not going.” A third also replied: “Oasis should cancel the tour – greedy.”

Meanwhile, others were telling of their own success stories, with one writing: “Mate, I sold four for £6k each, I’m mad for it.” Another also chimed in with: “Just sold four. £2,600.”

After fans spent hours queuing to try and bag tickets on Saturday, the band later broke their silence on the booking drama – confirming tickets could only be resold at face value. There was a huge rush on Saturday morning as people jumped online to try and secure seats to see the Gallagher brothers, Liam and Noel, perform together for the first time since they split up the band in Paris, in 2009.

Pre-sale tickets went on sale on Friday night and 14 million users were expected to fight it out for the band’s 17 UK shows in London, Manchester, Edinburgh and Cardiff as well as their two Dublin gigs. Even though the demand was super high, fans were still fighting to get their hands on tickets at 5pm – hours after they went on sale.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, the band said: “Oasis Live ‘25 UK and Ireland tickets have now SOLD OUT. Please be aware of counterfeit and void tickets appearing on the secondary market. Tickets can ONLY be resold, at face value, via @TicketmasterUK and @Twickets.”
