Oasis have confirmed this morning they are reuniting for a comeback tour in 2025, with four blockbuster gigs at Wembley.

The major announcement came at 8am after Noel and Liam Gallagher fuelled speculation about a reunion.

The Manchester brothers have not performed on stage with one another since breaking up in 2009 but are now reuniting for a string of gigs next year.

They will play at Manchester’s Heaton Park, Wembley, Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, the Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh, and Dublin’s Croke Park.

In a statement, Oasis hinted the tour could go global with ‘plans underway for Oasis Live ’25 to go to other continents outside of Europe later next year’.

They said: ‘The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.’

The Gallaghers both posted a short clip of the band’s logo on Sunday on their social media feeds teasing an announcement at 8am this morning along with the official Oasis account.

Oasis tickets limited to FOUR PER PERSON

Ticketmaster has released more information about the upcoming ticket sale this Saturday.

They will be limited to FOUR per household, and any tickets in excess of this amount will be cancelled.

The details of the prices will be released on Thursday, but it’s being reported by the Manchester Evening News they will be near the £140 mark.

The rules differ for each venue, but for Wembley they include:

General admission is only for those aged over 14. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.
Reserved seating is for over 5s only, and, again, those aged under 18 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.

Ticket demand will ‘absolutely dwarf Taylor Swift’

A music journalist has suggested the demand for Oasis tickets will ‘absolutely dwarf’ that seen for Taylor Swift’s concerts in the UK.

DJ Kevin McManus told ITV that four per cent of the population was trying to get a ticket when Oasis twice performed at Knebworth in 1996.

‘They sold out 250,000 tickets, but it was a ridiculous amount of people who tried to buy tickets, they were that huge,’ he said.

‘But this, because people have been talking about it for the past decade, it’s going to be even bigger.

‘I think everybody is going to try and get a ticket.

‘Taylor Swift was obviously the big deal this summer, I think it’s going to absolutely dwarf that, just because it’s them and there’s that talk.

‘And there’s always going to be that ‘are they going to do it? Are they going to fall out before the first show, are they going to fall out after five shows? Will they do the rest?’
