Snoop Dogg is grandpoppin’ it like it’s hot.

Nearly two months after the “Gin and Juice” rapper’s daughter Cori Broadus prematurely gave birth to her daughter at 25 weeks, he spoke out on his new family addition and gave an update on whether his eighth grandchild had left the hospital following a stay in the NICU.

“That’s my baby, Tiny C,” Snoop, who is hosting the TIME100 Gala, exclusively told E! News at the New York City event April 24. “She just brought home my granddaughter.”

And now that Cori’s little one is home, the Voice coach—who is also dad to sons Cordé, 30, and Cordell, 28, with wife Shante Broadus, as well as son Julian, 26, with Laurie Helmond—is looking forward to celebrating Cori’s first Mother’s Day next month.

“Hopefully we’re gonna do something special,” he continued in the interview, airing April 24 at 11 p.m. “You know what we do, we spontaneous in my house. What we try to do is keep love in the air seven days a week. So, no matter if it’s Mother’s Day or not, we always got love in there.”

And love is exactly what Cori—who shares the 1-month-old with fiancé Wayne Deuce—is giving her first child, even amid the emotional roller coaster of her daughter’s early arrival.

“The princess arrived at 6 months,” the 25-year-old wrote in her Feb. 28 birth announcement on Instagram, alongside a picture of the baby’s foot. “Baby girl came at 25 weeks today and she’s perfect as ever!”

However, she said she felt insecure about not carrying the baby to full term, adding, “I’ve cried and cried, I’ve compared and compared, blaming myself that I wasn’t able to give her all that she needed.”
