Eminem has become a grandfather for the first time as his daughter Hailie Jade has welcomed a baby boy.

Hailie revealed on Instagram on Friday (April 4) that she had given birth last month and posted pictures of her child, who has been named Evan Marshall McClintock.

The boy’s middle name is, of course, a nod to his rap star grandpa, whose real name is Marshall Mathers.

Hailie Jade captioned the special announcement: “Happy due date//3 weeks earthside little e [white heart emoji].”

Longtime family friend 50 Cent appears to gearing up for honorary fun uncle duties as he reposted Hailie’s photo of baby Evan on his own Instagram page and said: “Congratulations. This is the best. WOW!”

The news was also welcomed by Eminem’s adopted daughter Alaina, who commented: “Obsessed with this tiny human and could not be more in awe of YOU mama!!! Motherhood is such a beautiful thing and you make it look easy. I am SO proud of you and grateful you have Evan.”

Eminem learned that he was going to be a grandfather in a surprise reveal in his music video for “Temporary,” which featured various daddy-daughter moments between him and Hailie from over the years.

In the clip, the pair can be sitting outside when Hailie hands Em a custom jersey from his beloved Detroit Lions adorned with “Grandpa #1” on the back. She then shares her sonogram, much to her dad’s pure shock and joy.

50 Cent was, again, among those to congratulate Hailie on the big news.

He wrote on Instagram: “Man [palm on face emoji] the baby, is not a baby anymore. @hailiejade congratulations baby. [three hand clap emojis, sly face emoji] @eminem man [eyes looking emoji] we fvcking getting old smh LOL.”

The G-Unit mogul also recently admitted that he was moved to wears when attending Hailie’s wedding to husband Evan McClintock last year.

“I wish I had a daughter. I do. I wish I had that [father-daughter] relationship,” he said in an interview with Haute Living. “For female children, their dad is the first man they fall in love with. Male children go to their mom; I’m a mama’s boy myself.”

50, who has two sons, then recalled his emotional reaction to watching Em’s daughter get married: “It was unbelievable, the wildest thing for me, period. I was like, ‘Yo, bro, this is crazy. We’re getting old. Your baby is grown. What the fuck is going on?’

“I was having a moment myself over there. I told Em, ‘You said it was OK to cry, because I’m crying.’ I couldn’t believe it went that fast.”
