The Masked Singer panelist Rita Ora doesn’t think her friend Robert Pattinson would ever appear on the show. In a clip from this week’s episode, she responds to fellow panelist Jenny McCarthy’s guess that Pattinson might be under the Griffin mask.
Does Rita Ora Think Robert Pattinson Is on The Masked Singer?
Entertainment Weekly shared a clip from this week’s episode of The Masked Singer, featuring the remaining members of Group B. That includes Griffin, whose clues include a vampire bat. That makes McCarthy guess that Griffin might be Pattinson, who starred in both Twilight and The Batman.
Ora chimes in to say that Pattinson is “a very good friend of mine,” adding that the actor introduced her to her husband Taika Waititi. When asked whether she thinks Pattinson could be under the Griffin mask, Ora answers, “I really don’t, because Rob is really shy.”
“But all the clues match,” Ora admits, telling McCarthy, “You are the queen of clues. So who knows, right? Who knows?”
Last week, Griffin teased that they “skyrocketed to overnight success.” Their first performance on the show was a cover of “Rewrite the Stars” from The Greatest Showman. Guesses from the panel included Matthew Lillard, Freddie Prinze Jr., David Arquette.
This Week’s Show Is Themed to Ghostbusters
This week’s show will be themed to the Ghostbusters franchise, as the panelists can be seen wearing the iconic jumpsuits, with their last names on the chest. The episode will also reportedly feature an appearance from the movie’s star Ernie Hudson.
The remaining members of Group B (Griffin, Boogie Woogie, Space Ranger, and Pearl) will be performing songs including “(Don’t Fear) the Reaper,” “Disturbia,” “Cleanin’ Up the Town,” and “Radioactive.” At the end of the night, one contestant will be unmasked.
