Audiences have been talking up the Netflix series that’s proved so addictive, fans are powering through every episode within a night, and staying up until the early hours to finish it.
The show was highlighted on Reddit when a viewer sought recommendations for their next watch, sparking a key suggestion that quickly gained traction. It wasn’t long before people started to suggest one TV show that’s clearly had many people hooked, with some admitting to watching it several times because they loved it so much.
This isn’t the first time a show has had people so thoroughly gripped, either. Previously, another Netflix title was deemed so good people were binging it in a single sitting.
The social media user wrote: “The most binge-worthy Netflix show or movie you’ve ever watched? You ever start a show or movie on Netflix thinking you’ll just watch one episode, then suddenly it’s 3am and you’ve watched the whole thing?

“I loved it so much. Such a great story about sacrifice, and how far you would go (for better or worse) for those you love.”

What’s the plot?
For the uninitiated, Midnight Mass is an American gothic supernatural horror television miniseries. It was developed and directed by Mike Flanagan, with a cast comprising Zach Gilford, Kate Siegel, Hamish Linklater, Samantha Sloyan, Rahul Kohli, Kristin Lehman and Henry Thomas.
The storyline centres on a deeply religious and impoverished Catholic island community that encounters supernatural occurrences following the arrival of a mysterious priest. Despite landing on Netflix back in 2021, it continues to captivate audiences in significant numbers.
Upon its initial release, it drew overwhelmingly positive reviews. Flanagan’s direction earned widespread admiration, while the cast were equally celebrated for their compelling performances.
