A MAN has tragically died after a bungalow was destroyed in a huge gas explosion.
The victim, in his 60s, was fatally injured after the property in Newton Longville, Buckinghamshire, was blown apart on Sunday morning.

Cops were scrambled to the home on Cobb Hall Road, near Milton Keynes, at around 9.45am – as nearby properties were evacuated.
Horrified eyewitnesses described seeing bricks and tiles flying hundreds of feet into the air during the horror.
The victim was urgently rushed to hospital where he was receiving treatment for his injuries.
However, despite the best efforts of medical teams, the man has since tragically died, Thames Valley Police confirmed today.
DI Philip Turner-Robson said the investigation into the explosion was still ongoing following the “tragic development”.
Issuing a statement, he said: “Our thoughts are with the man’s family and friends at this extremely difficult time.
“Thames Valley Police is managing a coronial investigation into the circumstances surrounding the explosion and collapse of the property, working jointly with the Health and Safety Executive.
“Our enquiries remain ongoing as we seek to establish the full circumstances of what happened.”
Shocking footage captured the roof of the bungalow rocketing into the sky, before debris rained down on cars below.
Further clips showed the home completely gutted with bricks, planks of wood and furniture scattered around it as a fire continues to burn.
A neighbouring bungalow also appears to have its roof severely damaged, with tiles dangling off it.
Locals told how they could smell smoke and gas following the explosion, but the fire department are yet to confirm the cause.
Residents were evacuated from their homes as engineers from SGN, a gas distribution company, carried out safety checks.
Graham Fuller who lives on the road, told the BBC he heard his wife scream, before running outside to an “Armageddon” scene.
He said: “Debris everywhere, I ran out into the street and my neighbour had already managed to grab hold of the occupant of the property…
“We’ve been kicked out of our homes at the moment – we don’t know when we’re going back.”
Another neighbour, Marc Betts, was just about to leave his house when the “big bang” occurred.
He said: “The great big bang can only be described as World War Three in the street.
“I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemies, to be quite honest with you.”
