FOUR DAYS OF HOPE, THEN HEARTBREAK: NINE-YEAR-OLD MOTOCROSS RIDER DIES AFTER FIGHTING FOR HER LIFE FOLLOWING NSW CRASH
A nine-year-old girl has died after a motocross crash in the NSW southern tablelands.
Emergency services were called to a motorbike park at Jerrong after reports of a crash involving two motorcycles on Saturday, August 8 at 12pm.
Paramedics treated the young rider for serious head injuries at the scene.

She was then flown to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition.
Police were told the girl had passed away in hospital on Wednesday.
A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.
Jerrong is located about 65 kilometres south of Oberon.
Motocross is a form of motorcycle racing held on enclosed off-road circuits.
It is a popular sport in Australia with numerous motocross events held around the country every year.
