AGATHA CHRISTIE’S ‘MOST UNDERRATED’ DETECTIVE DUO IS BACK — BUT THIS TIME THEY’RE YOUNGER, BOLDER AND READY TO BREAK EVERY RULE IN A THRILLING NEW MYSTERY SERIES THAT COULD COMPLETELY CHANGE HOW FANS REMEMBER THEM
BritBox has unveiled the official trailer for Agatha Christie’s Tommy & Tuppence – and it looks like a must-watch for any Agatha Christie fan.
A modern take on the Queen of Crime’s iconic detective duo, the six-part series reimagines the titular pair in present-day London.

Antonia Thomas and Josh Dylan star in Tommy & Tuppence
Described by fans as Christie’s ‘most underrated’ creations, Tommy and Tuppence are recurring characters in her work, first appearing in the 1922 novel, The Secret Adversary. Across four novels and one short story collection, the characters run their own detective agency, are recruited by British Intelligence, and in Christie’s final novel, 1973’s Postern of Fate, are retirees solving a mystery in their new country home.
As a longtime Christie fan, I’m counting down the days until the release of Tommy & Tuppence, which is the first contemporary English-language television adaptation of Christie’s stories. Phoebe Eclair-Powell (The Road Trip, Harm) pens the series, while Fergus O’Brien (Happy Valley, The Tourist) and Ellie Heydon (Outrageous, Trying) direct – so it’s safe to say Christie’s beloved characters are in safe hands!
