Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, Gloria Estefan, Benson Boone, Lainey Wilson and Reneé Rapp will take the stage at the Fountainbleau Las Vegas on May 26
Janet Jackson will also perform while receiving the ICON Award

The American Music Awards slate of performers is the perfect way to kick off summer.

On Thursday, May 15, CBS and Dick Clark Productions announced the performers for the 2025 American Music Awards. Packed with talent across genres, fans will be thrilled to see these musicians taking the stage at Fontainebleau Las Vegas.

Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, Gloria Estefan, Benson Boone, Lainey Wilson and Reneé Rapp have different performances teed up, ranging from debuting new music to showcasing a medley across their careers.

Shelton, 48, is slated to perform a single from his new album For Recreational Use Only. His wife, Stefani, 55, meanwhile, will perform a career-spanning medley honoring the 20th anniversary of her album Love.Angel.Music.Baby. along with a song from her 2024 album Bouquet.

Estefan, 67, will also perform a medley of her greatest hits from her five decades in the music industry. Her performance that evening will mark over 30 years since her previous AMAs performance.

Boone, 22, nominated at the AMAs for the first time this year, is expected to sing the latest single from his upcoming album American Heart.

Following the European leg of her Whirlwind Tour and days before a string of performances throughout the U.S., Wilson, 32, will take the stage at the AMAs. Rapp, 25, will also make an appearance to debut new music from her upcoming sophomore album.

Jennifer Lopez will be hosting the 2025 American Music Awards, 10 years after she previously served as master of ceremonies for the awards show.

Janet Jackson will receive the ICON Award at the ceremony, which honors artists “whose music has had undeniable cultural and global influence over the music industry.” Past recipients include Rihanna and Lionel Richie.

Jackson, 58, will also perform at the 2025 AMAs, marking her first televised performance since 2018.

The 2025 AMAs take place on Memorial Day. At this year’s awards ceremony, the AMAs and Easy Day Foundation (a Las Vegas-based nonprofit that helps veterans transition to civilian life) will team up
“to present several special in-show moments that celebrate Veterans while raising funds for a variety of national and local organizations,” per a press release.

Two performances and the “presentation of a special award honoring a marquee talent who uses their platform to make meaningful contributions to the Veteran community” will also be part of the awards show.

The 2025 American Music Awards will air on Monday, May 26, at 8 p.m. EST on CBS and on Paramount+.
