Michael Bublé Breaks Down While Sharing Son Noah’s Emotional Tribute on Kelly Clarkson’s Show! After years of battling illness together, Noah wrote a powerful song for his dad featured on Bublé’s album Higher. The touching moment left everyone speechless and showcased their unbreakable bond—a must-see story of love, resilience, and hope.
Michael Bublé recently shared some hilarious and heartwarming moments from his family life during an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, just six days after dropping his latest album Higher. The 46-year-old singer talked candidly about balancing music and family — two aspects of his life that often intertwine.
One standout example? The music video for his single “I’ll Never Not Love You” doubled as a family affair and a creative pregnancy reveal. Featuring his wife, actress Luisana Lopilato, and their children, the video also marked the couple’s announcement that baby number four is on the way.
But at home, the big news didn’t exactly land as expected. The couple broke the news on Christmas Eve, only to be met with confusion — and a little sass — from their 5-year-old son Eli. “Why didn’t you invite me when you fell in love and made the baby?” Eli asked, visibly upset. Bublé, still amused, admitted, “I don’t know how to answer that one.”
While chatting with Clarkson, the Canadian crooner also dished about visiting Argentina, where his wife is a major celebrity. “When we’re there, I’m basically the set assistant,” Bublé joked. “I bring the gear, get the trailer ready, maybe throw in a massage, and keep the kids entertained.” He even mimicked the way he’s bossed around on set — “Set b—h, get me some water! ¡Tengo sed!”
Bublé also shared a funny moment about how one of the songs on Higher came to life. He was giving his kids a bath when his eldest son, Noah, told him he’d written a song. “I said, ‘Wow, this is good,’” Bublé recalled. “Then I paused and asked, ‘Wait, did you hear that on YouTube?’” Noah insisted it was his own creation. Bublé was stunned — and inspired.
In an interview with Billboard’s Pop Shop Podcast, he expanded on the story: “In about 35 minutes, I turned this idea from my 8-year-old’s head into one of the best songs I’ve ever written.”
Working on Higher has been especially meaningful for Bublé, considering the challenges his family has faced. In 2016, Noah was diagnosed with liver cancer but has since recovered. Reflecting on that time, Bublé told Clarkson, “It’s been a tough decade. There were moments I didn’t think we’d make it. To be here now, releasing this album — it’s surreal.”
