Dan Levy‘s gonna have to get right with Jesus.

On Thursday, the streamer revealed the trailer for Levy’s Big Mistakes, which the Schitt’s Creek co-creator … co-created with Rachel Sennott (I Love LA). Levy plays Nicky, a full-time pastor and evidently a part-time jewel thief. His partner in literal crime is his sister Morgan, played by Taylor Ortega.

The “deeply incapable siblings … are in over their heads when a misguided theft for their dying grandmother accidentally pulls them into the world of organized crime,” the show’s synopsis reads. “Blackmailed into increasingly dangerous assignments, they clumsily fail upwards, sinking deeper into chaos they’re ill-equipped to handle.”

The Roses they are not.

Big Mistakes premieres April 9, 2026 on Netflix, a Sunset Boulevard billboard stunt teased earlier this week. On Tuesday, signage posted on the famed Los Angeles street featuring a diamond necklace that spelled out “4.9.26.” There was no additional context. Later that night, an augmented-reality video of the necklace being “stolen” off the billboard was posted on Netflix’s social channels.

The following day, selfies of cast members Levy, Ortega, Laurie Metcalf, Abby Quinn, Boran Kuzum and Jack Innanen wearing the necklace were posted. Get it? Because they’re the thieves — some of them, at least.

Additional cast includes Elizabeth Perkins, Mark Ivanir, Ilia Volok, Jacob Gutierrez, Joe Barbara and Darren Goldstein.

Levy will showrun the eight-episode comedy series. He and Sennott are joined by fellow executive producers Anne-Marie McGintee, Dean Holland, Etan Frankel and Timothy Greenberg.
