Kelly Clarkson’s crew had an extra special guest for the day.

On the Wednesday, April 2 episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, the “Since U Been Gone” singer’s daughter River, 10, joined the crewshadowing the showrunner Alex Duda. The preteen acted as a “mini producer” for the day, attending meetings and telling her mom when to go to break.

“My daughter is here today,” she said, as she pointed and looked at her daughter, noticing a new add-on to her attire. “Oh my God! You have a mic and everything! You’re so fancy! Oh my God. I love it. You’re like a little mini producer.”

She then urged her daughter and Duda to come out and show the audience how they unintentionally dressed similarly. Both River and Duda sported athleisure wear, donning black pants, boots and a sweatshirt.

“I got a leader. She’s gonna rule the world one day y’all,” Clarkson added later in the show when River told her it was time for a break. “Alright y’all, we need a quick break apparently.”

In addition to River, Clarkson is also a mom to son Remington “Remy” Alexander, 8, sharing both of her children with ex-husband Brandon Blackstock. The mom of two recently gave insight into her co-parenting dynamic on an episode of the Not Gonna Lie podcast hosted by Kylie Kelce.

During the episode, Clarkson discussed the mom guilt she often feels when she has to leave her kids for work or can’t attend one of their school shows in the middle of the workday. The “Stronger” singer also talked to the newly minted mom of four, 33, about the double standards that exist between working moms and dads.

“It’s funny though how different it is because even from a young age, like we didn’t teach them [that],” she told Kelce. “Just innately, you’re like, ‘He’s allowed to be somewhere, but you’re not.’ Like, that is real interesting.”

“There’s a lot that I keep in because…co-parenting is fun,” she teased. “It’s like, ‘Oh, he couldn’t come because this,’ and I’m like, ‘Okay, cool.’ Do you think I just leave and just sit in the park all day?”
