Epic Holiday Clash: Washington Commanders vs. Dallas Cowboys—Who Will Own Christmas Day?

This Christmas, the Commanders will host the Cowboys at home, airing live on Netflix.

WASHINGTON — Instead of the traditional red and green Christmas colors, this year’s theme colors will be burgundy and gold in honor of the Washington Commanders.

The NFL is slated to release its highly anticipated 2025-2026 schedule in a few hours. Every year, the league announces a few games ahead of the official release. Wednesday, the NFL announced the Commanders would be taking on the Dallas Cowboys this Christmas.

They even threw in an extra stocking stuffer, the game will land on Christmas Day. Commanders will host the Cowboys right here in Landover, Maryland at Northwest Stadium.

For fans who can’t make it, the game will stream live on Netflix. So move out of the way “It’s a Wonderful Life” and “Home Alone,” because kick-off is at 1 p.m.

This news comes just one day after the league confirmed the Commanders will be heading to Madrid, Spain to play against the Miami Dolphins. This is the first ever NFL game hosted in Spain.

Commanders will head to Spain, Nov. 16.
