Meghan and Prince Harry went on to leave the Royal Family shortly after, moving to the United States
Meghan Markle made a strange alteration to her son’s birth certificate weeks after his birth, it has emerged.
Markle and Prince Harrywelcomed son Archie into the world on May 6, 2019, and his birth was officially registered 11 days later, on May 17.
Strangely, though, Markle altered her son’s birth certificate a couple of weeks later on June 5. The change saw Meghan change the reference to her name from “Rachel Meghan” to “Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Sussex”.
The change happened at a time when there were rumors aplenty of disagreements within the Royal Family.
The Sun also speculate that it could also be a dig at Prince William and wife Kate, whose names both feature on the certificates of their children.
Others suggest the move may have been instigated by Harry, whose mother Diana used the term “Her Royal Highness the Princess of Wales”.
Prince Harry and Meghan left the Royal Family shortly after and moved to the United States. They also welcomed a second child in Lilibet.

Royal commentator Ingrid Seward added: “For a royal to change a birth certificate is unprecedented but to remove forenames is remarkable. Perhaps this is another sign they were desperate to do something different to the Cambridges.”
