The legendary quarterback is a fan of the young Chicago star

Tom Brady warns Caleb Williams about improving his game for his second season with the BearsX
The Chicago Bears were one of the worst teams of the NFC last season, finishing last in the NFC North with a horrible 5-12 record.
The team got former USC Trojans standout Caleb Williams with the first pick of the 2024 NFL Draft, and the rookie experienced an up-and-down campaign.
Williams, who was viewed as a high-impact playmaker on the go and an effective pocket passer, struggled at times with a pacing and staring down receivers during his first full season as a pro. He did showed flashes of extraordinary upside, including a big arm and off-platform ability.
Tom Brady has some advice for Caleb Williams
Caleb Williams struck an agreement with Topps for a line of trading cards the Chicago Bears quarterback has been promoting for the past months, catching the attention of fans and legendary NFL players alike. The latest superstar to set eyes on the item is the GOAT Tom Brady.
The QB with the most Super Bowl rings ever – 7 of them, 6 with the New England Patriots and one of them with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers – called Williams after getting a card with an autograph on it. The young player was happily surprised to receive a call from the greatest quarterback of all time.
Brady, who’s known to be one of the most competitive people ever – probably just behind the NBA GOAT Michael Jordan – couldn’t help himself and got on Williams about the Bears’ 2024 season and he warned the player that he better improved his record for the upcoming season. “Is (Caleb’s card) it gonna be worth more or less after this coming season? That’s what I want to know,” Brady asked Williams. “A lot f****** more!,” Caleb replied. “Alright, good. That’s what I wanna hear;” Tom responded.
Caleb Williams wants to make a statement in 2nd season
The 23-year-old Chicago Bears quarterback is looking to learn from the downslopes of 2024 and he says that he’s super excited for the future, which could hopefully turn into a good record and even a playoff run that could take the team to the promised land.

“Being able to be in this position, being able to have a first year the way I did — ups and downs — and then to be able to come in here as confident as I was last year or possibly even more and to be able to get here with the group that we have, I really can’t wait to get to work with these guys.” Williams said.
The former USC Trojans noted he’s working through the cadence and huddle sequence of the new offense. After spending most of his college and rookie days in shotgun, the quarterback will also get more comfortable in under-center formations that Johnson’s scheme calls for.
