The highly anticipated live shows of “America’s Got Talent” Season 19 will debut on August 13 (performances) and August 14 (results), following NBC‘s broadcasting of the 2024 Paris Olympics. Earlier today, Howie Mandel announced the 44 acts that will compete on the big stage at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium, including nine contestants that received Golden Buzzers during the auditions round. Watch the video above and scroll down to see the complete list.
Notably, there are some tweaks this year that longtime “AGT” viewers should be aware of. The live shows will begin with four weeks of Quarterfinals before heading into one Semifinal round and culminating in a two-week Finale event. In each Quarterfinal, 11 acts perform, and one judge (either Howie, Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum or Sofia Vergara) will get to press their Golden Buzzer for that night, sending their anointed act straight through to the Finals. America’s vote will then determine which additional three acts will advance to the Semifinals, with those 12 competing live for a shot at making it into the Finals. The ultimate champion on Tuesday, September 24 will take home the $1 million prize and join the “AGT” winners list.
Here are the nine acts that have already received Golden Buzzers this summer: comedian Learnmore Jonasi (pushed by Terry Crews), singer Richard Goodall (Heidi #1), singer Liv Warfield (Simon #1), drone group Sky Elements (Simon #2), dance crew Legion (Sofia #1), dancer Brent Street (Howie #1), singer Pranysqa Mishra (Heidi #2), singer Reid Wilson (Howie #2), and animal mask act Schumacher (Sofia #2).
