Snoop Dogg breaks down in tears after facing major setbacks at the very start of his plan to open a restaurant in Scotland with Gordon Ramsay: ‘Everything’s gone terribly wrong’

The US legend said he has told Michelin-starred chef Ramsay he wants to launch a venue together which might even be in Glasgow.

It was supposed to be the most unexpected culinary collab of the decade—Snoop Dogg and Gordon Ramsay, teaming up to open a hip, high-end soul food restaurant in the heart of Scotland. The name? “Tha Caledonian Crib”.

A fusion of Southern flavor and Highland heritage, the menu was to feature things like Deep-Fried Haggis Tacos, Whisky-Glazed Ribs, and something called a Mac & Cheese Bagpipe Explosion. The world was ready. Or at least, Snoop thought it was.

But just weeks into the project, things went south—fast.

Licensing issues. A supplier scandal involving counterfeit black pudding. Local pushback from angry Scots who weren’t thrilled about “Americanizing” their national cuisine. And worst of all? The kitchen’s imported DJ turntables (Snoop’s idea) kept blowing the fuses.

Then came the press conference.

Cameras flashed as Snoop stepped to the mic, wearing a tartan hoodie and matching bucket hat. He tried to smile, but his voice cracked.

“We had big dreams, man,” he said, pausing, blinking back tears. “But everything’s gone terribly wrong.”

The room fell silent.

Even Gordon Ramsay—usually made of fire and fury—put a hand on Snoop’s shoulder and whispered, “We’ll fix this, mate. No one messes with our food.”

Later, sources close to Snoop said he locked himself in the back of a Glasgow tea shop for three hours, drinking herbal infusions and writing spoken word poetry about betrayal, bagpipes, and business licenses.

But the story’s not over.

The restaurant is temporarily paused, not canceled. Ramsay has reportedly flown in a team of elite sous chefs and building inspectors, while Snoop’s working on a remix of “Drop It Like It’s Hot” using nothing but spoon and kettle drum.

When asked if he still believed in the project, Snoop smiled through teary eyes and said:

“Every king takes an L. But I’m still servin’ these royal plates—just give me time, ya dig?”
