It is claimed Prince Harry has left a number of Buckingham Palace courtiers “unimpressed” with his remarks about his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.

Harry has often described the close bond he shared with the late Queen, describing their special relationship since he was a young boy in a number of TV interviews. But in a recent ITV documentary, ‘Tabloids on Trial’, he claimed that before she died at Balmoral Castle in September 2022, she was fully behind his numerous legal battles. The Duke of Sussex explained: “She knew how much this meant to me and she’s very much up there saying ‘see this through to the end’.”

The Duke appeared in a new ITV documentary called Tabloids on Trial – aired last week – to talk about his legal battles with the British Press. However, according to the Daily Mail’s Diary Editor, Richard Eden, the comments have caused a stir with courtiers at the Palace. Writing in his column, he explained: “One courtier I spoke to this week was far from happy with Harry’s ‘tasteless’ attempt to claim his grandmother’s support in his continuing ‘crusade’.
