Prince Harry’s oldest friend has claimed that he “misses” the UK and wants to be “loved” again like he was before he stepped down from his senior role in the Royal Family.

The Duke’s pal claimed the Duke of Sussex would rather be in the UK with “everyone loving him” again.

They told The Times: “He’s an angry boy. Things haven’t turned out how he wanted.

“I think he misses being over here [in Britain] desperately and wants to be admired more.

“Anyone who knows him feels he’d rather be top of the pops here with everyone loving him, as they do with William and Kate.”

It comes after sources claimed Prince William does not want his younger brother to attend his Coronation when he ascends the throne.

Harry and William are believed to have not spoken since the Queen’s funeral two years ago.

Even then, they “barely exchanged a word,” according to Harry’s book, Spare.

The Duke of Sussex also returned to the UK earlier this year to attend an event marking the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games, but the brothers didn’t meet.

It comes as Harry and Meghan Markle’s four-day Colombia tour has come to an end.

The quasi-royal tour, which had many similarities to the programme of an official royal overseas visit, saw the Sussexes visiting schools, enjoying musical performances, speaking at forums, meeting Invictus Games competitors, and even learning how to play the drums.

On the final day of the tour, the couple attended a forum on Afro-women and power where the Duchess took to the stage to deliver a speech. This saw her pay tribute to Harry for empowering her and allowing her to know her voice was heard.

She also told how their three-year-old daughter Lilibet has already found her voice and also paid tribute to her mother Doria.
