The NBC game show revisited Snoop’s appearance with a montage shared on Instagram titled, “That time Snoop Dogg helped everyone win on Price is Right.”
The video, which has over 1.4 million likes at the time of writing, is captioned, “Music legend [green tick emoji]. Sports correspondent legend [green tick emoji]. Price is right legend [green tick emoji].
“Is there anything he *can’t* do?”
The accompanying clip is a compilation of Snoop Dogg giving contestants friendly advice as they try their luck at games such as Plinko, Push Over, Range Game and One Wrong Price.
Each time, the player ends up winning the round because of the rapper’s insight, leading fans to question whether the show was “rigged.”
“He secretly knew all the answers,” one person theorized in the comments section.
“Snoop watched a lot of Price is Right lol,” another person tried to explain the coincidences.
“He’s watched this show so much he knows EXACTLY how to play these games [laughing emoji],” a third comment read.
Others suggested that “America’s favorite uncle” is simply a “good luck charm” to the contestants, with one person writing, “Y’all need to invite him back. Make it like an annual thing.”
“I’ve come to the conclusion that I will enjoy anything that Snoop appears in [laughing emoji],” another viewer declared.
Inside Snoop Dogg’s Olympics experience
A more critical fan comment read, “lol the price is right is rigged.. .it’s about ratings.”
“There’s no f***ing way the computer on the Price is Right costs $3,900,” another person noted, alluding that a game of One Wrong Price was fixed. “ABSOLUTELY no chance.”
Snoop Dogg helped contestant Dana accurately predict that the computer was incorrectly labeled at $2,380 during the game.
Snoop Dogg, whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., is currently front and center at the 2024 Paris Olympics after he was named NBC’s Special Correspondent for the global sporting event.
Since arriving in the French capital, the Grammy winner’s appearances at the Olympics have left fans delighted.
He was spotted taking swimming lessons from Michael Phelps, who told the music icon that “lung power” was the secret to his success.
The Young, Wild, & Free singer couldn’t resist bringing up his smoking habits, with Snoop Dogg replying, “You just described me. You said wingspan, lung power — I definitely have great lung power.”
Since the Olympics began, Snoop Dogg has danced with Simone Biles and Jordan Chiles, boisterously cheered for the U.S. women’s beach volleyball team, and delivered a rap commentary to a badminton match.
Following his appearance at the beach volleyball match on July 31, fans called for a “Snoop Dogg cam” to document all of his reactions and antics.
“We need a Snoop Dogg stream on Peacock. Love watching him cheer on Beach Volleyball,” one person wrote on X.
“Snoop Dogg is having THE BEST time at the Olympics,” another fan said.
“Hilarious seeing Snoop Dogg, I can’t take my eyes off him,” a third fan wrote.
“It’s fun to see Snoop Dogg having the best time,” a fourth fan said.
Snoop Dogg will take the stage during the Olympics closing ceremony on Sunday, August 11, joining artists like Billie Eilish, Tom Cruise, and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
