Charlamagne Tha God recently sat down with The Brilliant Idiots with Andrew Schultz where they talked about the Verzuz battle and Eminem‘s chances in it. Charlamagne who has always been taking shots at the Detroit rapper, once again shows that he doesn’t like Marshall very much. He said that Eminem doesn’t have any chance in the Verzuz and he can’t compete with today’s generation rappers.

The Loud Speakers Network’s The Brilliant Idiots is a weekly podcast headquartered in New York City that airs on iTunes and SoundCloud and features media sensation Charlamagne Tha God and comedian Andrew Schulz. The podcast was born out of Charlamagne Tha God and Schulz’s collaboration on MTV2’s Guy Code.

“Eminem gets washed in any Verzuz bro. Any Verzuz,” says Charlamagne. “Em don’t have songs like that. Em can rap and we like Eminem as a rapper. Future washes Eminem in Verzuz. 6ixN9ne would wash him too, depending on the generation. Em don’t got nothing that slaps like GUMMO to these kids. Young Thug washes Eminem in a Verzuz.”

Then the hosts mention songs like “My Name Is” and “Superman”. The Charlamagne says, “Nah, I can name twenty rappers that washes Eminem in Verzuz. Em falls in to the same category as somebody like Kendrick Lamar and I think Kendrick would perform better in Verzuz. Em don’t have Verzuz type songs. Imagine Verzuz where he plays ‘Stan.’”

They also talk about a Verzuz between Eminem, to which Charlamagne says that Kendrick would win 18-2 over the Detroit Rapper. Charlamagne Tha God also says that Eminem would lose even to Britney Spears. “All jokes aside, Britney washes Eminem in a Verzuz bro. Britney gets Eminem the f**k out of here.”

Nobody wants to face Eminem in a Verzuz duel, according to Fat Joe, who just worked with Em. In a recent Instagram live session, Charlamagne Tha God, who is renowned for bashing Eminem, named rappers that can beat Eminem in a Verzuz battle, including Jay Z, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, DMX, Nas, and T.I., but he also concedes that Eminem can go up against anybody in a real rap battle.

Marshall Mathers has publicly blasted everyone from fellow rappers to pop singers to actresses throughout the course of his career. Even radio DJs aren’t immune to their names appearing on a diss tune. Charlamagne stated Slim Shady’s album Revival was trash when it was released in 2017. When the rapper found out, he used his Kamikaze album to bash the radio presenter.

On “Ringer,” Em raps: “Charlamagne gonna hate anyway, doesn’t matter what I say/Give me Donkey of the Day.” The hip-hop artist brought up Charlamagne again on the track “Fall” with the lyrics: “One last time for Charlamagne/If my response is late, it’s just how long it takes/To hit my f**kin’ radar, I’m so far away.”

Charlamagne Tha God co-hosts the nationally syndicated radio show The Breakfast Club alongside DJ Envy and Angela Yee, who were all inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame in 2020 for their contributions to the show. Guy Code, Guy Court, and Girl Code all highlighted him as the founder of the Black Effect Podcast Network. He was also a VJ for DJ Envy and Sofi Green’s show The Week in Jams.
