Filming for the latest series of Celebs Go Dating has kicked off with a bang, but not without drama, as Kerry Katona, 44, has already stirred the pot by imposing a strict rule: no younger men allowed. The former Atomic Kitten star, who is no stranger to the E4 dating show, has declared herself a “nightmare” on set, abruptly dismissing men she deems too young to approach her during the show’s iconic mixers.
Katona, who previously appeared on the series in 2019, is joined by a star-studded cast, including Christine McGuinness, Love Island’s Olivia Hawkins, Too Hot To Handle’s Louis Russell, and Jon Lee. Filming has taken the celebrities to sunny Ibiza, but Katona’s no-nonsense attitude has already caused a stir. In her weekly New! Magazine column, she admitted, “Half of the men in the first mixer were half my age, so I told them not to come near me—I could be their mum!”

I’m so excited to finally be able to share that I’m taking part in the new series of Celebs Go Dating ! It’s been really hard keeping it a secret but filming has kicked off and I’m really excited.
I’ve done the show once before, but it was six years ago so it feels really new and fresh. My friend Christine McGuiness is also doing it, I love her and was so excited when I found out we would be together.
Olivia Hawkins is also on the show and we only met for the first time last week but I love her to bits, I want to adopt her and Too Hot To Handle Star , Louis Russell. I’m a bit of a nightmare! Burning Out
Between Celebs Go Dating filming, being in Thailand and busy family life, I’m feeling delirious this week! I got home from four days working in Thailand, which were amazing, and went straight to London to start filming.
My Molly has been with me as I go back and forth down south and we’ve had such a giggle. It’s amazing to have her home from Ireland, I’m not ever letting her go back!
