While Bosch faces personal and professional trauma, Honey Chandler is navigating the high-stakes world of politics as Election Day arrives. Her opponent, District Attorney Emett Archer, tries to stall justice for his own gain—pressuring LAPD’s Detective Jimmy Robertson to delay clearing Bosch’s name until after polls close.
But Robertson—powered by Paul Calderón’s cool steel performance—won’t play along. He leaks the DA’s misconduct to the Los Angeles Times, leading to a public relations meltdown for Archer.
With grassroots momentum surging, Chandler claims victory—and perhaps more importantly, walks into office with a mission forged from pain and principle.
FIRST CASE AS D.A.? A COVER-UP THAT KILLS
Chandler’s team, canvassing neighborhoods to get out the vote, uncovers a haunting lead: Dennis Williams, a diner owner whose son died of an overdose, shares that the LAPD ignored damning evidence. His son had a sexual relationship with city councilman Patrick Currey, who allegedly injected him with a designer drug that led to his death.

Chandler’s reaction is swift and decisive. In her first official days as District Attorney of Los Angeles, she may already be facing a massive corruption and abuse of power case—a headline-grabbing scandal with personal stakes and public fury.
