Kanye West has provided an update on Lil Uzi Vertâs health condition after the rapper was hospitalized in New York City for an undetermined illness.
According to TMZ, paramedics got a call on Monday afternoon (April 21) for what was reported as a âsick personâ in Lower Manhattan. They remained hospitalized the following day with little details about what exactly happened, but on Wednesday (April 23), Ye shared an update.
âUZI is okay,â he assured his followers on X with a screenshot of a text with producer Digital Nas â who had sent screenshots of a text thread heâd had with someone closer to Uzi.
The first text read, âThey saying heâs dehydrated but I know thereâs more to it,â followed shortly after by, âVertâs cousin just confirmed that Uziâs okay.â
The initial report stated that Uzi was wheeled out of a luxury condo and into an ambulance â and girlfriend JT was by their side the entire time.
Meanwhile, Kanye West is continuing to generate controversy for his association with Nazism and far-right symbols.
According to TMZ, West is currently holding auditions in Los Angeles where he is seeking to cast âAfrican American Malesâ as part of his âHooligan Choirâ with the sessions being held in a warehouse near a school.
In flyers posted near the warehouse, West also requires that any potential cast be âCOMFORTABLE WEARING SWASTIKAS.â
Additionally, it is claimed that Swastikas have been drawn on the side of the warehouse and the Nazi symbol is in clear view of the opposite elementary school.
The outlet reports that neighbors are complaining about the noise levels coming from the castings with Westâs songs âBlack Skinheadâ and âCarnivalâ playing on repeat.
