Kelly Clarkson Highlights the Seniors Who Made This Viral ‘Racy’ Calendar

The idea behind selling calendars was to raise money for the tenants’ association at Jack Satter House.

Three senior residents of Jack Satter House, a Hebrew SeniorLife facility in Revere, were invited on The Kelly Clarkson Show after participating in a partially nude calendar photo shoot to raise money for their tenants’ association.

The Spectacular Seniors calendar features 15 residents captured in the “calendar girl” style. To support The Jack Satter Tenants Association, which funds continued education, community activities, and social events for residents, the calendars are being sold online for $15.

Twelve of the women traveled to New York with Rabbi Lior Nevo earlier this week to film the show with Clarkson.

“The residents called the trip the event of a lifetime,” Hebrew SeniorLife wrote in a Facebook post.

Clarkson had “Miss February,” 90-year-old Loretta, “Miss November,” 91-year-old Phyllis, and “Miss June,” 80-year-old Roxanne, on the show to talk about making the calendar.

“It was exciting, it was totally exciting,” Roxanne said. “And it was fun to see all of us. The ages ranged from, I would say, middle 70s up to 92.”

The women posed doing activities they love. Loretta was shot with bingo boards in front of her chest.

“Whoever thought at 90 I’d be a pin-up girl?” Loretta said.

Phyllis said her granddaughters were so excited to see her in the calendar.

“She said, ‘Grandma, you’re a hot bitch!,’” Phyllis said. “My other granddaughter agreed completely.”

The goal of the calendar, Hebrew SeniorLife wrote on Facebook, is to celebrate “the beauty of the aging body, the spirit of continued learning, and the joy of social connection.”

Clarkson called the women an “inspiration.”

“You’re an inspiration to all of us, just to live life in a fun way,” Clarkson said.
