Prince Harry was forced to deny claims that Meghan Markle “broke royal protocol” when she joined the family, long before the couple both stepped down from their duties in 2020.

After they both left the Firm, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made a Netflix documentary series revealing never-before-seen insights into their lives.

As part of the series, Meghan discussed her transition into the Royal Family, which at times proved tricky because she didn’t realise they only champion “deliberately non-controversial causes”.

Referencing her speaking out about the MeToo movement, She said: “I didn’t know that that would be taboo to talk about. I knew that there was a protocol for how things were done.”

During this part of the documentary, a voiceover suggests Meghan “broke royal protocol” by doing this and other things such as hugging a schoolgirl, but Harry defends her, saying, “On top of that, with the press, there were a lot of invented protocols”.

Unlikely royal set to play ‘peacemaker’ role to finally fix Prince Harry’s feud with Firm

Princess Beatrice could play the role of the “peacemaker” amidst the ongoing royal feud between King Charles, Prince William and Prince Harry, the monarch’s former butler has claimed.

The Duke of Sussex has been estranged from the Royal Family since his sensational exit in 2020.

His subsequent claims about his life within the Firm and certain members of it have only deepened the rift, resulting in the duke reportedly not being on speaking terms with his older brother, while having minimum contact with his father.

Harry only visited Britain twice this year so far, once in February after Charles’s shock cancer diagnosis announcement, when he met briefly with the monarch and a second time in May for an Invictus Games event when he failed to meet with any members of his family.

Prince Harry’s odds of rejoining the Royal Family dwindle as time is running out

Prince Harry’s odds of rejoining the Royal Family have dwindled as time is running out for the estranged royal, who stepped down from duties in early 2020.

Although it remains unclear when his uncle Lord Robert Fellowes’s funeral will take place, Harry is said to be likely to attend – as will Prince William.

Harry is said to have been close to the Fellowes family, with Lord Robert married to the late Princess Diana’s sister Jane, with BBC former royal correspondent Jennie Bond recently telling OK! that Harry will likely “want to be at his uncle’s funeral”.

A possible reunion between Harry and William has now led to speculation that the Duke of Sussex may rejoin the Royal Family – with a market guessing which year a reunion between Harry and the royals could take place.

Here, we look at 11 moments that show why he was once (maybe still is) dubbed the ‘bad boy’ of the Royal Family.

Prince Harry and Meghan’s surprisingly nice move to ensure they don’t ‘overshadow’ William

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are said to be considerate of Prince William and Princess Kate’s work to ensure there is no “overlap” a royal author has claimed.Since Harry and Meghan stepped down as senior working royals in 2020, they have embarked upon their own projects, such as the launch of Meghan’s new lifestyle brand ‘American Riviera Orchard’.They have also recently announced a joint visit to Colombia later this year at the invitation of the country’s vice president Francia Marquez.

Royal author, Phil Dampier, told Fabulous Magazine that the Montecito-based duo have set up a “rival court” across the pond, but in a surprisingly nice move, have made sure their projects do not coincide with William and Kate’s.He explained: “Now that they [have] set up as this kind of rival court, they will obviously hope that things they do not overlap with what William’s doing.”

Royal expert’s damning six-word verdict on why Harry’s memoir continues to wreak havoc

More than a year after the release of Prince Harry’s bombshell memoir, Spare, a royal expert claims the repercussions of Harry’s revelations are still being felt.

Spare landed on bookshelves in January 2023, just a few months after the demise of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II. It became the best-selling book of 2023, and it sold almost half a million copies in the UK in its first week of sale.In the pages, he shared personal details of growing up, and his life within the Royal Family, including events on the day the late sovereign passed away.Since the release of his book, Harry’s relations with his brother, Prince William and King Charles, have deteriorated, with Harry not making many visits back to the UK to see his family.

In a damning six-word verdict about why Spare is still discussed today, royal writer, Robert Hardman, said: “He gave away too many secrets.”

Real reason Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are ‘desperate’ to fix rift as new threat looms

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are understood to be dead set on making amends with King Charles and the rest of the Royal Family, and the reason may have something to do with the 2024 US elections.

The Duke of Sussex’s attempts to reach out to his father, who continues to undergo treatment for an undisclosed form of cancer, and public comments to the press about his love for his family, firmly suggest this.

“It seems quite clear that they are desperate to start healing the rift,” an ex-employee told the Daily Mail’s Richard Eden.

In an op-ed for the paper, he appears to suggest that his motive may be due to the ongoing threats from Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump and his family.

Meghan Markle’s lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard suffers major setback

Meghan Markle has suffered a major setback regarding the launch of her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard (ARO), reports have claimed.

The Duchess of Sussex’s latest business venture was anticipated to hit the shelves at some point in the near future, however, a trademark setback has put its launch on hold.

According to the Daily Mail, records in July showed that there were “irregularities” to be “corrected” regarding ARO’s trademark, four months after it was requested to register it to the US Patents and Trademarks Office – the agency responsible for granting US patents and registering trademarks.

The outlet claims that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s lawyers have been notified of the various issues regarding ARO’s trademark, which include “incorrect classification of yoga blankets, picnic baskets and recipe books”.

The fees, said to total around £9,000 ($11,382), are due to various bodies around the world in order to register the trademark, according to the US agency. The Duchess of Sussex’s representatives were contacted for comment.
